The psalmist says: “For the wrath of man shall praise Thee” (Psa. ). If God can make man’s wrath praise Him, He can certainly make our sins and shortcomings praise him. That obviously does not mean we should live our lives in total disregard for the will of God, and then expect Him to work out the mess we make. Therefore, God said to Moses in Exodus “Write this in a book as a memorial, and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” God lawfully has the right to execute judgment upon anyone. The Bible says that all people have sinned against God and are under his righteous judgment.

God is recorded in the Bible as having personally killed a large number of people. While the majority of the divine assassinations certainly took place during God's time as the notoriously vengeful deity in the Old Testament, a few instances are also recorded in the (just slightly) more peaceful New Testament.

This page lists people personally assassinated by His hand or by. Question: "Why did God kill Ananias and Sapphira for lying?" Answer: The story of Ananias and Sapphira is found in Acts 5, and it is a sad story, indeed.

It actually begins at the end of chapter 4 with the description of the early church in Jerusalem, a group of believers so filled with the Holy Spirit that they were of one heart and one mind.

X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills is an original graphic novel published in by Marvel Comics, starring their popular superhero team the X-Men. It was written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Brent Anderson.

If the killings described in this book actually happened, then the God of the Bible is not the kind of god that believers pretend him to be.

In this book, I’ve tried to count all of God’s killings: those that are numbered in the Bible and those that are not; the ones that God did himself; those that he instructed others to do; and those. If God will kill a man for picking up some sticks (to show the importance of the purity of the Gospel), then don't foolishly make the grave mistake of thinking that He'll let you slide and go to Heaven “SOME OTHER WAY” (John ).

Just as Tempus (a/k/a the Riddler, the Black, the Sleepless One) and his Stepsons were and are, in my humble opinion, the most memorable of all the characters in the old Thieves World shared-universe of sword & sorcery, A Man and His God, by Janet Morris, remains the stand-out story of the series, and a most pivotal one at that, for where it lead and what it later became/5.

Man hardly can blame God and His Word for the awful consequences of sin; rather, he has only himself to blame (Romans ; ).
